Support LOLA's surgery day!
Meet LOLA, our cherished senior Pug. Saved from a life of breeding, she carries the weight of several medical concerns. When we first examined her, we made sure to provide her with all-encompassing care. Lola received a full check-up, updated vaccines, a manicure, ear cleaning, flea/heartworm preventative and a stool test. Additionally, due to her age, we conducted a thorough senior blood test to ensure her health.
Unfortunately, while giving Lola back rubs, she would suddenly collapse, exposing a hidden problem. Worried for her well-being, we chose to get a complete X-ray to examine for any broken bones or injuries. While her back was not fractured, we discovered indications of a previous disc injury that appeared to have occurred during her time as a breeding dog.
Lola's upcoming surgery will involve several procedures to improve her health and comfort. Along with a required dental cleaning and spaying, she needs to have multiple tumors removed from her backside. The removed growths will be tested to determine their nature and determine the best course of treatment. Additionally, while Lola is under anesthesia, we will carefully assess her "witch's eye" to ensure there are no underlying issues.
Despite the overwhelming expenses that Lola may have, this brave girl has overcome unimaginable challenges and deserves a loving family to spend the rest of her days with. Let's shower her with love and prevent her from ever having to suffer the burden of bearing puppies again. Lola is truly one of the kindest hearts you will ever meet, and it is our responsibility to provide her with the life she truly deserves - a life filled with endless love and care.
