The mission of Letters of Love is to provide emotional support to children battling serious illnesses through the creation of hand-crafted, heartfelt letters. We aim to build a community of love and kindness, empowering young people to change the world one card at a time.

The first Letters of Love club met in September 2018 at Orono High School in Minnesota. Since then, our community committed to making a difference in the world has grown exponentially. We now have more than 300 clubs at high schools and colleges in 42 states, and have received heartfelt cards from countless companies, organizations, and individuals.

Grace Berbig founded Letters of Love in honor of her mom, who tragically died after battling leukemia when Grace was 10. While her mom was in the hospital, Grace and her sisters brought her so many cards that all the walls in the room were lined with encouraging messages from loved ones. This is what Letters of Love is all about: the belief that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We believe that you can make an impact no matter your age or your financial situation.
