Legacy Award

Dr. Pablo Rodriguez
Dr. Pablo Rodríguez has been a cornerstone of Latino advocacy in Rhode Island for decades. His work has shaped policy, opened doors, and built platforms for Latino voices to be heard.

He played a key role in helping secure early funding for LPI in 2005 as Chairman of the Rhode Island Foundation. He co-founded the RI Latino PAC to build political power in our communities and created RI Latino Public Radio to make sure our stories were told on our own terms.

His leadership has made a lasting mark on public health, media, and civic engagement in our state. We are honored to recognize Dr. Pablo with this year’s Legacy Award.

Legal and Policy Immigration Advocates
We are proud to honor a group of legal and policy leaders who have worked tirelessly for years to protect and defend immigrant communities across Rhode Island.

These advocates have shown up in courtrooms, at the State House, and behind the scenes, using their expertise to push for policies rooted in dignity, equity, and justice. Their impact has shaped both lives and laws.
