We love improv for so many reasons: it's fun, it's silly, it makes us happy, brings us together and brings us joy. But it's even more than that. Improv is transformative. It changes lives. Ask the parent who brings their shy child to improv classes and watches them interact with other kids learning new skills, becoming confident. Ask the constant worrier who has learned to let go, or people who feared public speaking who routinely get up on stage and face a crowd comfortably or anyone who has always felt like an outsider... until they met their tribe.

Improvisers report that improv has showed them how to be less afraid, more accepting, better collaborators, listen better and frees them in a way that few things can.

Our mission at Mockingbird Improv is to bring improv to more people, particularly folks who don't normally get the opportunity to play.
