As we settle into our 24th school year—and our fifth year as a non-profit—we find ourselves reflecting on what makes Lucy School shine.

Our foundation is built on arts-integrated academics, environmental stewardship, and a deeply connected community. Together, these elements bring curiosity, creativity, and joy into focus.

This year, our explorative curricular theme, “Light and Shadow,” invites us to look closely at both the places where we shine and the places where we need a little more light.

For Lucy School, the Annual Fund is an opportunity to illuminate what makes our school extraordinary and to strengthen the areas that help our students, faculty, and community thrive.

As a nonprofit, independent school, tuition covers approximately 85% of our operating costs. The remaining gap is made possible through the generosity of families, alumni, and friends who believe in our mission. For the 2026–2027 school year, we are launching our Annual Fund Campaign with a goal of raising $30,000 to cover the tuition gap.

While tuition covers most of the basics, there is so much more we envision. Your contribution to the Annual Fund Campaign directly supports three essential areas:

Joy in the Arts: Welcoming several visiting artists to our campus, engaging students in interactive experiences and creative projects.
Experiential Learning: Immersing students in unique hands-on learning opportunities that empower, inspire, and deepen understanding.
Professional Growth: Creating additional pathways for our faculty and administration to develop professionally in support of our curious and creative learners.

Every gift, regardless of size, brings us closer to our $30,000 goal. Together, we can shine a light on the people, programs, and possibilities that make Lucy School such a special place to learn and grow.

We invite you to be part of this year’s Annual Fund and help us explore what becomes possible when a community comes together to share its light.

Thank you for believing in Lucy School, for nurturing our community, and for helping us illuminate the path ahead for our students, staff, and school.

Let’s light the way together.
