Our Mission:

At the School of Comics, we're for the artists that traditional establishments often overlook; The digital artists, the comic artists, the animators, the cosplay-makers, the upcyclers, the convention artists, etc etc etc. We want to empower independent storytellers, creatives, and entrepreneurs during an age when self-employment through art can be both so close and so far out of reach.

Artists deserve more than just a space to create; They deserve a place to belong, be seen, and thrive.

Why Big Texas Comicon?

We’re raising $1000 to secure a vendor spot at Big Texas Comicon! For a small nonprofit like us, being able to attend a huge convention like this could be a game-changer. We want to be able to bring our selection of independent comics out there onto the floor with the big leagues and give these artists the spotlight they deserve.

Additionally, this would be an amazing networking opportunity for us. We want to spread the word about our mission to empower independent creatives, and we believe that attending this convention could bring us many opportunities that we could then pass down to our community of artists, students, and entrepreneurs.

How Your Support Makes An Impact: Every dollar raised directly funds our convention presence.

$15–$25 helps cover essential booth display supplies, art backing boards, and protective sleeves.
$50 sponsors a micro-share of the vendor table, placing independent art right in front of thousands of comic fans.
$100+ helps clear the hurdle of the vendor fee entirely, ensuring our staff can focus on showcasing the talent of our artists, generating income to help support the business, and connecting with the community.
