Citizens for Better Brunswick began as a grassroots response to rapid changes reshaping our county. What started as residents asking questions and sharing research grew into a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that growth decisions are transparent, informed, and grounded in the long-term well-being of the community.

We bring together residents, subject-matter experts, and civic leaders who care deeply about Brunswick County’s land, water, and way of life. Our role is to help communities understand what is happening, why it matters, and how decisions made today affect future generations.

Through education, public engagement, and collaboration, Citizens for Better Brunswick helps ensure that residents have meaningful access to information and a seat at the table in decisions that shape their communities. We believe informed citizens strengthen democracy and that if we must have growth that it be thoughtful, responsible growth, that is essential to a healthy and enduring Brunswick County.
