You may have heard about the drastic cuts to federal arts and culture funding with the decimation of the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities. Due to that, quite frankly, the funding landscape for organizations like The Luminal is bleak.

With how things are now, they can only continue to serve the community with your support.

Our staff members want to continue to service your community by providing access and entertainment to distinct but difficult to find works like the James Baldiwn centered “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” and Haile Gerima’s remastered “Wilmington 10 - USA 10000”- but we need your help to do so.

We’re doing all we can by seeking alternative funding and sponsorships, but we’re also asking YOU - stakeholders and community members to contribute to our Summer Giving Campaign.

So please consider contributing to The Luminal Theater during our Summer Funding Drive. This current giving campaign culminates on Give 8/28 Day, the national day of giving devoted to supporting Black-led and Black-benefiting nonprofits.
