THE CHALLENGE
Two-thirds of the world’s older persons live in developing countries. Many nonprofits focus on children, clean water, and education. But who is taking care of our elderly? We help restore and protect this fragile population by focusing on one country at a time. We are solution-focused and believe in sustainability through the younger generation

THE SOLUTION
Working on our first project has been an exciting time. With your help, we are building an intergenerational campus consisting of assisted living care for orphan elders and a warm and secure place for orphan children. The Intergenerational Home will share a common dining room and space for multi-functional activities such as crafts, movies, and birthday celebrations. The kids will have their own housing where laughter and fun can be enjoyed, but their missionary parents will enforce quiet time for study. The adjacent assisted living quarters will provide seniors with round-the-clock care.

The campus includes a short-missionary dormitory for those who come to serve in our community outreach program. The career workshop includes woodworking, sewing, jewelry making, and a painting studio, to name a few. Here, the seniors impart their knowledge and job skills to the children to ensure employment when they are ready to move out, thus preventing human trafficking and gang assimilation. Imagine how much joy the seniors will have when they share their craft with the younger generation!

THE GOAL
The goal is generational change by pairing the old with the young. The seniors impart their wisdom to the children, and the children learn to love, respect and care for their elders. Together we'll educate the younger generation on the circle of life - caring for those who cared for you.

THE STORY
Stacy Shewey and her family are a missionary family. Stacy and Mike started bringing their three children to the mission field during their school years. Serving others is important to the family and is a part of who they are. Alex, the oldest child, graduated with an aviation degree and dreamed of becoming the missionary pilot for the family non-profit, Hands 4Life. Tragically, Alex's life was cut short this June 2022, and he has flown to the arms of our Savior, Jesus. The Hands 4Life Nigeria project elders are honoring Alex's legacy through the name of The Alexander Shewey Intergenerational Memorial Home. Alex's legacy of being a servant to others and a friend to all will have a visual reminder through this first-of-its-kind kind intergenerational home.

YOUR PART
We are almost there! We need to quickly raise $35,000 to secure the 5-acre campus site. With your help, we can bring the blueprints to life. We are anxious to get the campus built and continue the community outreach so we can educate and empower the people on how to best care for and honor the aging population. By joining us, you give hope to the orphaned children and ensure the elderly's latter days will be great! (Job 8:7)

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.
