2026 SYHS Safe+Sober Grad Nite

The Safe + Sober Grad Night tradition provides our graduates a well-earned celebration with their classmates before they head off into the world.

For the parents and community, this event assures that the 220 graduating seniors have an event that is safe, sober, legal, supervised and drug-free, alcohol-free and smoke-free. Every year there are reports of graduating seniors who do not survive graduation night as a result of alcohol or other substance abuse.

The Grad Night Committee is committed to making sure this kind of tragedy does not happen in our valley. As a community, we all have an interest in seeing these young people safely launched into adulthood to pursue their goals and contribute back to our community.

SYHS Safe & Sober Grad Nite is an official committee of the Santa Ynez Pirate PTO. Santa Ynez Pirate PTO is acting as the fiscal sponsor for the SYHS Safe and Sober Grad Nite for 2025. Santa Ynez Pirate PTO is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. Contributions to Santa Ynez Pirate PTO are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
