The L1 Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Level One Fitness, which is a pillar within the Greater 3rd Ward Houston area. Founded, owned, and managed by three brothers, Level One Fitness has been a staple in the community for nearly a decade.

More than just a gym, it’s a family-owned partnership born out of the shared vision of the Jones brothers from Hallandale, Florida: Ken, Kentavious, and Kendrick Jones.

Each brother brings unique expertise to the business, allowing it to flourish into a community-focused wellness hub. The gym has become a destination for not only fitness enthusiasts but also celebrities, local politicians, lawyers, doctors, and community leaders. Through both its fitness offerings and philanthropic endeavors, Level One Fitness has made a lasting impact on the Houston community.

Located on Cleburne Street in a 25,000-square-foot facility, Level One Fitness offers state-of-the-art bootcamps, personal training, and customizable programs for all fitness levels. Specialty classes such as spin, boxing, yoga, Pilates, dance cardio, and bounce/trampoline can be enjoyed by the highly skilled and certified instructors. Despite its size, the gym quickly earned a reputation for its welcoming environment and personalized approach to fitness.

As part of their commitment to giving back, the Jones brothers launched The L1 Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to promote community well-being and foster healthy development by hosting impactful events, mentorship programs, and innovative fitness initiatives. From youth mentorship to fitness programs for underserved communities, The L1 Foundation extends the Jones brothers’ commitment to health beyond the gym, ensuring their influence reaches all corners of Houston.
