Besides our work with the Liberty herd, we also support national legislation on behalf of America’s most vulnerable equines – those in the slaughter pipeline and wild horses on America’s lands and tribal lands. Liberty Sanctuary is a leading equine nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s most vulnerable horses and banning the slaughter of our cherished American equines. We rescue equines from the slaughter pipeline and offer comprehensive care, training, and adoption programs. Our national advocacy efforts include launching SAFEACT.org and helping to energize The Lost Horses campaign in support the Save America's Forgotten Equines Act currently in Congress.
