Help Revive a Library for the Children of Rancho Grande

We’re raising funds and collecting new books to help restore the Lázaro Cárdenas Public Library in Rancho Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico — a rural community filled with hard-working families but limited resources.

The library, a vital safe space for generations, is in urgent need of new books, safe play areas, and repairs. For many children, it’s the only access they have to books and learning outside of school.

This project is deeply personal — it’s led by someone who grew up here, whose love of reading was nurtured in this very library. Now, we’re committed to giving today’s children a worthy space filled with imagination, education, and hope.

Provide new books in Spanish and bilingual editions
Improve the children’s outdoor play area to attract families
Repair and furnish the library with updated tables and chairs
Grow community programs like storytelling, art workshops, and reading circles

In future phases, we aim to plant trees, offer more community activities, and eventually upgrade the building itself to create a more lasting impact.

Ayuda a Revivir la Biblioteca para las Infancias de Rancho Grande

Estamos recaudando fondos y recolectando libros nuevos para restaurar la Biblioteca Pública Lázaro Cárdenas en Rancho Grande, Zacatecas, México, una comunidad rural llena de familias trabajadoras pero con recursos limitados.

La biblioteca, un espacio seguro que ha servido a generaciones, necesita urgentemente nuevos libros, un área de juegos segura y reparaciones. Para muchos niños y niñas, es el único acceso a libros y aprendizaje fuera de la escuela.

Este proyecto es profundamente personal: está liderado por alguien que creció aquí, y cuyo amor por la lectura nació en esta misma biblioteca. Hoy queremos devolver a las nuevas generaciones un espacio digno, lleno de imaginación, educación y esperanza.

Tu apoyo ayudará a:

Donar libros nuevos en español y ediciones bilingües
Mejorar el área de juegos infantiles para atraer a las familias
Reparar y equipar la biblioteca con mesas y sillas adecuadas
Impulsar programas comunitarios como cuentacuentos, talleres de arte y círculos de lectura
