Join us for the Mental Health Awareness 5th Annual Live4Lane 2.5k/5K Walk & Run on Saturday, October 5. ~ 8:30 Registration starts, and shirt pickup begins Coffee and snacks will be available to all participants ~ 9 am – Announcements  ~ 9:10 am – Keynote Speaker  ~ 9:20 am – Raffle  ~ 9:25 am – Warm-ups ~ 9:30 am - Run/walk begins  ~ 10:40 am – After run/walk party with rock decorating* *Help us spread kindness by completing 1 of the 150 rocks for the community rock garden 🪨 🅿️ Parking: Participants should park in the HOA lot, and the shirt pickup will be near the community center. ☕️ Food: The Cupcake Mafia (https://www.thecupcakemafia.com) will be onsite selling coffee, breakfast items and paninis. ☔️ Rain Date: In case of inclement weather, the rain date is Sunday, October 6, at 9 am. 🐕 Dogs: Well mannered, Leashed dogs are welcome. Treats and water will be available for our furry friends. 📍RACE SITE AND COURSE 🏃‍♂️Lace-up your shoes and meet us at 47620 Saulty Dr, Sterling, VA 20165, for a memorable event. The starting and finish line is by the parking lot entrance. The 2.5k and 5k courses are the same, with the 2.5k ending before the second loop of the course. The course loops down Whitewater Dr and through the scenic Lowes Island Neighborhood.   ☑️ Remember: * All fitness levels are welcome. * Wear athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. Water station will be available. * Please arrive early for onsite parking. 💚 Our 5k objective is to be active, have fun, and continue our mental health conversation. 📚All proceeds will support the 2025 Live4Lane Mental Health Advocate Scholarship.  So not only do you get to enjoy some healthy activity and gain mental health awareness - but you are also helping us support youth advocacy work in our community.   Hybrid (In-Person/Virtual): While we would love for you to attend in person, we understand that is impossible for everyone. That's why we are excited to offer a virtual option this year, bringing the event to you. We will stream the opening remarks and the keynote speaker on our YouTube channel, making it convenient for you to join from wherever you are.
