Love Link Day 2026: Building a Community Where Everyone Belongs

Love Link Day is back for its 4th Annual Community Resource & Mutual Aid Festival, and we're inviting you to help make it our biggest celebration of community care yet.

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, neighbors from across Bridgeport and beyond will gather in Washington Park for a free day centered on connection, dignity, joy, and collective support. Organized by Love Link, a grassroots mutual aid network rooted in radical love, this event brings together community members, artists, volunteers, service providers, and local organizations to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need - and the sense of belonging they deserve.

Last year, more than 200 community members joined us. This year, we're expanding our reach and creating an even more vibrant space where families can access essential resources while celebrating the power of community.

Throughout the day, we'll provide:

Free meals and refreshments
Clothing and mutual aid supplies
Essential household items
Health and wellness resources
Community organizations and service providers
Children's activities, games, and art-making
Live music, performances, and cultural programming
Opportunities to build relationships across neighborhoods, cultures, and generations

Mutual aid is more than charity - it's the belief that we all thrive when we care for one another. Love Link Day is a living example of what becomes possible when communities invest in each other with generosity, solidarity, and compassion.
