Angie grew up in an abusive home and was placed in foster care at 13. She was abused in foster care, so she left and spent years on the streets as she felt it was safer. This trend continued until she received support and wrap-around services from Synergy Baltimore.

Ms. Shirley is raising her three grandchildren, ages 5, 8, and 12 because her daughter left them on her doorstep. Her daughter struggles with drug addiction. Her grandmother is on a fixed income, and she said to us, “I must decide if I feed my grandchildren or wash their clothes so they go to school with dignity and not be laughed at.” This was a constant issue until she received support from Synergy Baltimore

Synergy Baltimore is a non-profit organization (501C3). Our mission is simple: we serve the homeless and impoverished in Baltimore City. As you have already guessed, those individuals do not have the daily basic needs everyone deserves. We serve in five key areas: Food, Water, Shelter, Clothing, and Care (physical and mental).
