MCCNY Charities began serving our community in 1985 and has called the first floor of 446 West 36th Street in Manhattan home since 1993. Over the past 30 years, with your support, our space has served us well as we have fed and housed hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers in need.

As we look forward to the next 30 years, we know that now is the time to undertake renovations so that MCCNY Charities can continue to grow and adapt to the current and future needs of our community.

We are asking for your continued support as we undertake a renovation campaign. With your help, we will:

Create a Community Restroom accessible to all clients and guests
Renovate the restroom and shower facilities that serve our homeless queer youth
Build dry storage areas to accommodate greater quantities of nonperishable donations
Upgrade our kitchen creating a commercial kitchen facility
Restore the floor making the first floor feel more like home
Reimagine our entryway with new doors and an intercom system providing convenience, safety, and a more welcoming experience for all
