The Glut1 Deficiency Foundation and Team Glut1 is honored to participate in the Million Dollar Bike Ride, an annual awareness and fundraising event from the Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center (ODC). We are most fortunate to have a spot in the 2024 event, which will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 in downtown Philadelphia.

It is an amazing opportunity for participating rare disease teams to raise funds for pilot research grants for their diseases and to have those funds matched dollar for dollar by the ODC (up to $30,000 matched). All donations through the Team Glut1 - Million Dollar Bike Ride campaign will be dedicated to this research grant program as we put our hope in motion and double our donation dollars.

Please consider joining our efforts by making a donation to support Team Glut1 or signing up to ride along virtually or in person! 100% of all donations to Team Glut1 and the Million Dollar Bike Ride will support the matched scientific research grant for Glut1 Deficiency.

Learn more about the $61,901 grant that was awarded from the 2023 efforts and all the previous years as well. Together, with your help, the Million Dollar Bike Ride has provided over $388,000 in research funding for Glut1 Deficiency projects.
