MDE School's Day of Giving Annual Fund campaign is the most critical fundraiser of the school year. From our classrooms, enrichment activities, and life skills training, we could not provide the excellent special education program we do without our generous annual fund donors.

Your support of our mission helps to keep MDE School financially solid and thriving during the school year. We depend on the support of our Day of Giving Annual Fund campaign to sustain our mission. Each and every gift has a direct impact on MDE students and faculty by supporting the programs we offer.

Our goal this year is to raise $75,000 for the Annual Fund during our Day of Giving campaign on November 9 – 10, 2022.
Gifts to the Annual Fund are 100% tax deductible. MDE School is a recognized non-profit organization under 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

MDE School is a not-for-profit special education school. The school helps children with special needs who cannot be successfully served in a traditional educational setting. MDE School helps children with developmental disabilities reach their full potential by providing individualized education, enrichment, and life skills training in a nurturing environment. MDE School expanded in 2019 to include MDE Vocational Academy, which helps students aged 16 and older transition to adulthood with life and vocational skills training.

MDE School and MDE Vocational Academy serve students with varying disabilities, including, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, communication disorders, and learning differences.

MDE School was founded in 2009 by Mindy Elkan, who currently serves as the Executive Director.
