Join Jewish Voice for Peace Maine on Sunday, October 18 at SPACE in Portland for a joyful, child-centered community gathering rooted in love, creativity, connection, and our shared humanity. ✨

📅 Sunday, October 18, 10-noon, 📍 SPACE, Portland

Together, we’ll raise essential funds to support Maine’s immigrant community and children and families affected by the ongoing genocide in Gaza. 100% of proceeds will be split evenly between the Maine Solidarity Fund and Rawa, a Palestinian grassroots community fund that distributes support through a community-led, participatory process.

Come gather with us for a morning filled with:

📚 Book readings and stories

🎶 Music and performances

🎨 Community art-making

🍎 Food, neighbors, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to connect

The event will feature Lindz Amer; KindKids Music; The Falastiniya: local Palestinian musicians performing folk songs of hope and resistance; and The Casco Bay Tummlers performing klezmer (Jewish folk music). Singing and dancing are encouraged!

We’ll also have a book giveaway from I’m Your Neighbor Books, face painting from Bc Love Creations, art builds, raffle prizes, and more!

Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your creativity, and join a community that believes all children—from Maine to Palestine—deserve safety, freedom, and joy. We hope you'll join us!
