🏥 The Challenge

On April 6, 2025, my life was turned upside down when I was hit from behind by a large company truck. The impact left me with severe injuries, including an estimated 7 herniated discs in my neck and back. Since the accident, I have suffered from:

Whiplash
Compressed nerves
Trembling and electrical sensations in all four limbs
Numbness
Painful, sudden loss of voice (sometimes reduced to a painful whisper)

Everyday activities—sitting, standing, lifting, and even speaking—have become exhausting and painful. My pain level is a 9 out of 10. My physical activity is limited to a 2, and my quality of life is just a 2. I am currently in physical therapy, but the challenges are immense, and I avoid many activities because of pain and discomfort.

🌟 Discovering Hope

As a Marine Corps veteran (2005-2010), I have faced tough situations before, but nothing compares to the struggle of not being able to care for my children the way they deserve. My greatest wish is to heal the herniated discs in my neck and back, restore my mobility, and return to being the active, present mom my kids need.

Stem cell therapy offers hope—a chance to address the root cause of my injuries and regain my strength, independence, and voice. I dream of being able to participate in my children’s lives again, pain-free and fully engaged.

Raising two children on my own has always been my greatest honor and joy. They are my world, and every moment I spend sidelined by pain is a moment I can’t get back with them. My injuries have created new challenges, but my motivation to heal is stronger than ever. I want to be there for my kids, cheering them on, helping with homework, and making memories together.

Unfortunately, advanced treatments like stem cell therapy are not covered by insurance, and I have exhausted other options. This fundraiser is to help cover the cost of therapy so I can get back to being the mom my kids deserve.
