We are a refugee-founded organization providing higher education scholarships, leadership training, and support services to bright refugee students in Rwanda and Uganda. Mondiant Initiative's programs are designed to empower, educate and engage refugees so they can have the tools to improve their communities.

There are thousands of bright refugee students ready to learn, lead, and impact the world if given the chance. Our purpose is to extend a hand to the changemakers, visionaries, and future leaders in refugee camps who are waiting to make a difference if given the opportunity.

Why a monthly pledge instead of a one-time donation?

Supporting our students with one year of monthly pledges will have a significantly higher impact on the success of our students compared to a one-time donation of the same amount.

By making monthly pledges, you are:

empowering our students by demonstrating your belief in them.
investing in the ongoing success of our students throughout the entire school year.
serving as the bedrock for a sustainable organization that's equipped for the future.
allowing us to focus less on fundraising and more on programming and storytelling.
demonstrating your long-term commitment to Mondiant Initiative's mission and vision.

Instead of a one-time donation of $12, consider pledging $1 monthly for one year.

Instead of a one-time donation of $60, consider pledging $5 monthly for one year.

Instead of a one-time donation of $120, consider pledging $10 monthly for one year.

Instead of a one-time donation of $600, consider pledging $50 monthly for one year.

Pledging is easy:

Pledge your support to our students with a one year, monthly recurring contribution. No amount is too small—every pledge is valuable!
You'll receive periodic updates from our storytelling team so you can follow the academic journeys of our students throughout the school year.
One month before GivingTuesday 2024, we'll send you a reminder that your pledge is approaching the final month.
If you enjoy being a part of our initiative, then no changes are needed. However, you're always free to modify or pause your contribution for the next year.

From Tuesday to Tuesday 2023

Invest in our students by making a monthly pledge for one year.
