MLK Lebanon is challenging area businesses, churches, schools, and civic groups to host food drives to benefit the Lebanon Food Pantry. The need for food doesn’t stop after the holiday season. The winter months can be challenging to restock the shelves as families seek support after Christmas.

From Jan 2 - Jan 15, we ask that your employees, managers, board, and even your customers do a blitz to collect non-perishable food items. The Lebanon Food Pantry will be open to collect your food donations on Saturday, Jan 13th, from 9 am to 12 noon, and Monday, MLK Day, Jan 15th, from 9 am to 12 noon. You may also drop off your donations on MLK Day at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1270 N. Broadway, from
12 noon to 3 pm.

1. Monetary Donation
• $25.00 will provide ten meals to feed your neighbors.
• $50.00 will provide 20 meals to feed your neighbors.
• $100.00 will provide 40 meals to feed your neighbors.

2. Reoccurring Gift - Sign up to make a reoccurring donation to help purchase perishable items once a
month.

3. Volunteer - Have a day of service to help unload donations, stock shelves, and
more. Grab your team, crew, dept., and volunteer for a few hours.

Lebanon Food Pantry feeds neighbors in Warren County, Ohio.

We serve an average of 350 people weekly and offer three days of emergency food support, including non-perishable goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meat, personal hygiene items, and other household necessities.

We encourage families to visit once per month for as long as they need assistance, ensuring a continuous safety net for those in need.

In 2023, the need for assistance increased by a staggering 64 percent. In 2024, we have served 13,596 people from 3,988 households and provided 122,300 meals. On average, a family comes four times a year for assistance. 479 families came this year for the first time, highlighting the growing need for our services.

Families struggling to make ends meet can use the food pantry to reduce their food expenses and save money for utilities and other bills.

The Lebanon Food Pantry relies on financial support and food donations from individuals, businesses, faith groups, and civic organizations.

Who receives food from the Lebanon Food Pantry?
