I truly believe that music can offer a creative and developmental outlet for youth. At the same time I know that so many kids miss out on opportunities due to many barriers - expense, experience, access, knowledge, limited options, scheduling, etc.
At MMC we approach all of our programming and partnerships with the goal to eliminate barriers and create powerful experiences through meaningful relationships.
Music has enriched my life in many ways thanks to the musical mentors I have had. I believe in MMC's mission and know that we can make a difference for so many students.
I started working for MMC 2 years ago and it has been the most fulfilling professional experience of my life. I am surrounded by a passionate community of board members, staff, teaching artists, grandmentors, donors, students, families, and partner organizations. We get to do important work and share our passion for music with so many people.
