Maximillions’ Muddy Puddles (MMP) is a Foundation to preserve the memory of Maximillion Robert Wilder Wood.

 

Maximillion Robert Wilder Wood was born on August 23, 2017 as the 6th sibling, 4th boy, in a larger family of 7 children. Maximillion was a friend to everyone he met and never found a stranger. Maximillion loved school and he knew how important it was. He attended his Kindergarten roundup and was so excited to read and spend time with his friends and be at school with his brothers. He read with his mom often and loved to try new books from the library, one of his favorite spots. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, playing in the mud and the rain, especially Muddy Puddles. 

 

On the day he was to return home from a family vacation in Colorado, July 15, 2022, his life was cut tragically short when the remains of a large tree trunk fell on his torso at a nearby friends residence. He was taken from this world instantly and his family returned home from what was to be a fun family vacation without their 4 year old son. 

 

Maximillions' Muddy Puddles Foundation was established as a way to spread some of the love that Maximillion showed his community by supporting those families that have children taken tragically from them without warning. The initiatives of the foundation will be to help establish resources in the community that are ready to spring into action during times of tragedy for those families in need. Additionally, the MMP Foundation will create an outdoor space, with a splash pad, to help provide opportunities for friendship, play and memories in the community to honor Maximillion. 

 

MMP is a nonprofit 501c3 tax exempt organization and will be fundraising to begin providing these services to the local community and build the Indianola Children's Splash Pad memorial.
