The Founders of MORE: A blunt conversation on antiracism in the Heartland.

A'Jamal Byndon and Karen Abrams discuss the evolution of MORE, some of the significant issues that have impacted Movement in Omaha for Racial Equity, and the lack of allies who have been standing and sitting on the sidelines. They will explore Karen's Jewish identity and how that religion and societal issues affect our inability to have open conversations and achieve meaningful outcomes.

A'Jamal has worked for over 45 years in various nonprofits in Omaha and three years in racist Douglas County Apartheid administration that has a track record of malfeasance toward People of Color.

They will explore what keeps them involved in the struggle for justice, despite the odds and the fascism being practiced by many systems. In the second half, participants will be allowed to share their experiences and stories on race, community issues, and the growth of racial conflict by white supremacist personalities.
