Over 2 million people face severe food insecurity

Northern Gaza has faced immense devastation due to the ongoing genocide, blockades, and the destruction of infrastructure, leaving families struggling to survive. With food systems disrupted, markets destroyed, and humanitarian access limited, millions of civilians are living in conditions where basic necessities like food, water, clothing, and medicine are extremely difficult to obtain.

We work closely with trusted local partners on the ground in Northern Gaza to provide freshly cooked meals, grocery bags filled with essential food items, and, when possible, clothing and shoes for families facing extreme hardship.

Through our More Than A Meal initiative and our ongoing commitment to fighting hunger wherever it exists, we aim to bring both immediate relief and long-term hope to communities enduring one of the most severe humanitarian crises in the world today.

For the Month of Ramadan:

During the month of Ramadan, families in Northern Gaza continue to fast from sunrise to sunset while facing one of the most severe humanitarian crises in the world. With widespread food shortages, damaged infrastructure, and limited access to basic necessities, many families struggle to find enough food for both suhoor (the pre-dawn meal) and iftar (the sunset meal).

Through our More Than A Meal initiative, we are working with partners on the ground to provide freshly prepared iftar meals, suhoor food packages, and essential groceries to help families maintain their strength and observe their fast with dignity.

In addition to food assistance, we are providing Eid clothing for children so they can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with joy and a sense of normalcy despite the difficult conditions they face.
