Join Let the Light In and OhioHealth Loss and Healing Services for Lanterns & Light: A Wave of Light Event on October 15, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.

Beginning at 6:00 pm, you'll have the opportunity to create a customized glass lantern honoring your baby followed by space for reflection and community while memorializing your loss during the Wave of Light hour from 7-8pm.

October 15th marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, an annual day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, ectopic pregnancy, termination for medical reasons, and the death of a newborn.

The International Wave of Light globally recognizes pregnancy and infant loss. Beginning with the first time zone, at 7:00 pm, illuminations and candles lit remain for one hour until the next time zone takes over, moving westward and creating a Wave of Light worldwide.

There are three ways to participate in this event:

🕯️ Wave of Light Candlelight Vigil Only

🕯️ We will light a candle on your behalf with an included card listing the name(s) of those you wish to honor.

This will mark Let the Light In’s third year providing personalized services to women and families who have experienced a loss and the continuous efforts of OhioHealth Loss and Healing Services pregnancy and infant loss support programs.

This event is free to attend, but Registration is Required with three available options listed above. If you register for the Lantern Making Workshop, you do not need to register for the other two options.
