For my birthday this year, I’m raising money for RESCU Foundation yet again! If you know me, then you know that the Health of the Company is near and dear to my heart.

For over a decade now I’ve been volunteering and raising money for this organization so that we can bring low cost and no cost health and medical services to festival participants all over the country. RESCU also helps folks to navigate the medical billing system, AND workers and volunteers can even apply for financial aid to help cover a portion of their medical bills. In 2025 alone, we were able to distribute nearly $140,000 in financial aid, reduce over $2 MILLION in medical bills, and give away over $17,000 worth of tangibles-such as NARCAN, fentanyl and drink test strips, COVID tests, and first aid kits!

RESCU is over 20 years old and intends to stick around until every ren faire participant in this country has equal access to health and medical services!
