First-ever San Rafael pro wrestling event benefiting community non-profits coming to Desire to Inspire Studios on Saturday, May 17, 2025 For the first-time ever (to our knowledge) live professional wrestling/Lucha Libre comes to San Rafael! The wildly popular, family-friendly, multi-generational entertainment is brought by Wrestling For Charity, a 20-year-old company that has featured such stars in the past as Bayley, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, Candace LeRae, Shotzi, Jeff Cobb and many others - all before they became major Global stars and World champions. Wrestling For Charity brings a colorful cast of beloved superheroes and despicable villains. The acrobatic performers perform death-defying feats of athletic prowess, combined with the dramatic flair of live theatre and humor of improv comedy. Wrestlers scheduled include El Comico, “Honkey Kong” Bobby Bayou, “Hot Stuff” Carmelo Romeo, Slammin’ Jammin’ Jheri Giggalow, female Luchadora sensation Sailor Mask, Anthony Nova, The All Day Krue, Dropkick, “The Titan” Elliot Rey, Llama Jack, Sexxy B Blackr, Lyta Jay and many more. Six action packed bouts will provide approximately two hours of entertainment.
