I met LaRicha in the year after her son Ja'Mere was killed. What struck me was her ability to take the worst thing that could happen to a parent and turn it into advocacy for other families. That's when I knew I wanted to help build her vision.
I care about this because gun violence doesn't end with the headline. It ripples into mothers, fathers, siblings, and communities long after the world has moved on.
Mere's World Foundation exists for that aftermath, so families don't have to carry it alone. I hope you'll join me in supporting LaRicha's vision and Ja'Mere's legacy.
