The Friends of the Millicent Library is a 100% volunteer run 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Millicent Library.

Our Mission

Foster public interest for the library through knowledge of its services
Support the Millicent Library's plans with active volunteerism and creative fundraising
Foster public interest in new and innovative ways which will enrich the minds of our community
Underwrite enriching, cultural, and specially focused educational opportunities
Enrich the cultural life of the community through inclusive library activities

Help the Friends today by supporting our mission by bringing new and updated technology to the Millicent Library's Tech Lab - a space to inspire creativity and innovation and offer access to technology for learning, creating, or simply becoming familiar with it.

The first phase of the project will update the library's current computers and add technology for multimedia editing and digitization. We hope to grow to include 3D-printers, recording equipment, photography and video equipment, green screens for filming, podcasting equipment and more!
