A safe place on the water—connecting Apprentices to the maritime history of Alexandria and inspiring a relationship with nature.
A transformational experience based on the development of self-discipline, integrity, reliability, trust, and respect—for oneself, for one another and for the community.
A family of apprentices, graduates, volunteers, and staff who nurture and challenge one another.
An inclusive environment that fosters love of learning, boats, the craft of boat building, personal achievement, the success of others, teamwork, and success of the team.

The Alexandria Seaport Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization. Our tax ID number is EIN 54-1208614. The IRS requires us to state that no goods or services were received in return for this contribution. In addition to this receipt, Seaport will issue you a gift receipt through the mail.
