Our candles are hand poured from 100% soy wax and feature cotton wicks. The locally-made candles have no additional additives and have clean scents in glass jars.

With your purchase, you’ll help to continue inspiring a love of learning in our community of young children. Your contribution supports scholarships, enrichment activities, professional development for staff, and maintenance and improvements to our school’s historic facility and grounds.

WHO ARE WE?

The Montessori Schoolhouse was founded in 1989 by a group of parents who wanted the best possible education for their preschoolers and for their children to learn in a loving, relaxed, and nurturing environment. The Montessori teaching methods seemed the best choice to achieve that goal.

So they formed a non-profit school with the sole purpose of using Montessori teaching methods to provide developmentally appropriate toddler and preschool educational programs. Today we enroll children between the ages of 16 months and six years old for school year program, and up to eight years old for summer camp programs. Our school is also a licensed child-care provider with the state of New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services.
