We cordially invite you to our annual summer party, More Than 3 People in a Room! Join us on Thursday, June 26, at 6pm at DCTV (87 Lafayette St, New York, NY) for an evening filled with food, drinks, great speakers, and music.

This is around the time of the year that three very powerful people in New York State politics – Governor Hochul, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins – make huge budget and policy decisions for New Yorkers. But we know that to achieve a more just and equitable New York, we need more than three people in a room – we need strong movements that can hold our elected officials accountable!

We also know that in the current political climate, it may feel strange to plan for a party. Yet, we hope this event can serve as a brief respite from the turmoil we find ourselves in. We look forward to this party as an opportunity to come together in celebration and solidarity as we continue working toward a more just New York.

The funds we raise from this event will directly support the work of the Advocacy Institute, helping to strengthen New York's movement for social justice. As our communities face growing challenges—mass deportations, cuts to vital social programs, the erosion of regulatory protections, and the loss of federal funding for key programs—we remain steadfast in our mission to support social justice organizations to build the advocacy skills, knowledge, and power they need to shape government policy for a more just and equitable New York.
