Magpie Creative Reuse Collective exists to keep things useful longer — mobilizing collective effort to collect, resell, and transform leftover materials into creative resources for artists, makers, and entrepreneurs in Kansas City. As a young, growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work every day to divert waste from landfills, teach skills and practices of reuse, and inspire innovative approaches to material waste.

Every dollar raised at the 2nd Annual Moth Ball supports Magpie’s mission: strengthening our community reuse center, funding educational workshops, expanding volunteer and outreach programs, and ensuring our shared creative reuse space remains accessible and welcoming for all.
