Immediately after Hurricane Helene’s destruction, 5 Volunteers from different walks of life came together. Each dedicated to the safety,recovery,and continued vitality of the Appalachian people-they began providing shelter/warmth/supplies with the help of #YOUTHEPEOPLE.

To further commit,a 501(c)(3) named Mountain Strong Sanctuary was born November 2024.

Which continues to thrive! From the selflessness of individuals like you!! We’ve been blessed & since unified with disaster relief organizations across the Southeast. Including North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Texas and Kentucky.
