Each week, we raffle off something uniquely Ukrainian for the benefit of Ukraine's frontline defenders. Up this week:

Sunflower seed pendant

This pendant tells quite the story - these sunflower seeds came from Bucha. If Bucha sounds familiar, it should; it was the site of horrific russian war crimes in the early days of the war.

Along the "Road of Death", leading to Bucha from the east, was a field of sunflowers, common in Ukraine. Many russian invaders died along that road, and when they retreated from Bucha, leaving behind hundreds of murdered Ukrainians, they mined everything, including that field of sunflowers.

Thanks to the russian cruelty, harvesting the sunflowers would have been an act of suicide. Some brave people safely collected some of the sunflowers and sent them to UFL's own Arcaist to memorialize the depravity of the invading orcs. Arcaist turned the sunflower seeds, a national symbol of Ukraine, into a pendant. (~4 cm/1.5" in diameter)

Birds of Magyar patch

By now, everyone should know this unit at a glance.

The second item this week is a patch from the 414th Strike UAV Brigade, better known as the "Birds of Magyar". They continue to wreak havoc on the invaders and define the new drone warfare model.

I don't think I need to say much more about this, except that I want this patch. Badly.

We are working on assisting the Birds, so keep an eye on our social media for that announcement. 😉

HIMARS

As a bonus, each winner will get a miniature 3D-printed HIMARS. These mobile rocket artillery pieces provided by the USA have had an amazing impact on the war. These little models are really cool; the Ukrainian soldiers seem to love getting them as surprise presents in our supply deliveries.

The proceeds from this week's raffle will go into the UFL emergency fund. It's not sexy, but as you can imagine, many times UFL is contacted by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine asking for immediate assistance and we don't have the luxury of time to fundraise. In those time-critical cases, we use our small emergency fund to provide immediate help and rely on you, Ukraine's steadfast supporters, to refill that fund.
