Our Mwana car is one of our true necessities—from getting around town for grocery shopping to getting little ones to school and for doctor’s visits—even for our important investigation work in locating family members in far-off communities. Mwana Villages is a grassroots organization in the Republic of Congo that provides refuge within orphanhood to vulnerable children and families. We provide refuge to vulnerable children and families in five specific and intentional ways:

We provide shelter to orphaned and vulnerable children at the Mwana Refuge.
We create safety for vulnerable children who may otherwise face trafficking, exploitation or death.
We employ trustworthy local staff who holistically and lovingly care for the children and families.
We unite each child to his family, either through family reunification or through adoption when needed.
We empower vulnerable women toward stability, self-sufficiency and hope.

We are currently caring full-time for over FIFTY precious lives! These fundraising campaigns are specific to helping us get a reliable vehicle for the Refuge which will help us transport children safely!
