Rite of Home is a program created by Alchemy of Home with the goal of giving back to the St. Louis community. We believe every person deserves a safe, peaceful home that supports them both physically and emotionally.

This initiative focuses on women who are starting over — whether after domestic violence, natural disaster, or displacement. Rite of Home seeks to restore dignity, agency, and healing through the power of home design.

Funds are raised transparently in $1500 increments. For each milestone, we will partner with local nonprofits to identify women ready to take their next steps forward. Each recipient will receive a personal design consultation (anonymously via survey if preferred), empowering her to choose the vision for a room in her home. Alchemy of Home will then provide a tailored design plan, along with the essentials to bring it to life — from paint and linens to lighting and furniture.

Our goal is to fund at least one transformation per quarter, ensuring that beauty, creativity, and dignity become part of the rebuilding process. Together, we can make St. Louis a community where starting over feels not only possible, but hopeful.
