At NAMIQN, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Queens/Nassau, we are dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. We provide compassionate, free resources, educational programs, and a variety of support groups that foster resilience, connection, and understanding. Our mission is to empower people by building a supportive community where they can find help and feel hope.

Mental health challenges affect all of us, whether personally or through someone we love. NAMIQN is here to make sure no one faces these struggles alone. Through our programs, initiatives, and support groups, we bring hope, resources, and life-changing assistance to those in need. Our Goal:

We’re aiming to raise $5,000 to help NAMIQN increase outreach, grow our support groups, and develop new resources. Every donation is a step toward empowering individuals and families as they navigate the challenges of mental health conditions.

How You Can Make a Difference:

Give Today: Every dollar brings us closer to helping someone feel understood and supported. No amount is too small.
Sponsor a Group: For $100, you can sponsor a single support group session for caregivers or peers. Your sponsorship provides a safe space for people to share, heal, and grow.
Light a Virtual Candle: For each donation, light a virtual candle in memory of a loved one or as a symbol of hope for those still fighting. Every candle reminds our community that they are not alone.

Special Features of Our Campaign:

Hope Meter: Watch as our Hope Meter lights up with every donation, symbolizing the light and hope you bring to those in need.
Gratitude Wall: When you donate, your name will appear on our virtual Gratitude Wall, a testament to the compassion and kindness of our community. For larger donations, we’ll share a personal story of impact to show the power of your contribution.
