This Giving Tuesday, we're thrilled to introduce "Tails of Impact", a celebration of the heartwarming stories made possible by your generosity. These tales of love and resilience showcase the transformative impact of your support on the lives of animals in need.

This year, we’re raising $30,000 to create a much-needed community cat room at North Country Animal League. A community cat room will greatly improve the well-being of our feline residents, increase our cat capacity, and enable us to save more lives. With a generous $15,000 matching gift pledge, every dollar you donate through midnight on December 3, 2024 will be doubled, making your gift go twice as far for animals in need.

Enhanced Socialization: Cats thrive in environments where they can interact with other friendly cats. A communal space fosters natural social behaviors, reducing stress and helping them adapt to new homes more easily.
Increased Capacity: With a community cat room, we can house more cats comfortably—boosting our capacity by 30% and allowing us to rescue and rehome even more animals.
Improved Adoption Outcomes: Prospective adopters can see cats in a more relaxed and natural setting, which increases the likelihood of adoptions and helps match families with the perfect pet.
Better Health and Happiness: Free from the confines of individual kennels, cats in a communal setting enjoy more space to play, explore, and rest, leading to improved mental and physical health.
A Lifeline for Overcrowded Shelters: By creating this space, we can welcome more cats from overcrowded Southern shelters, giving them a second chance at finding loving homes.
