Gabby Zeppieri, has been diagnosed with Neutral Lipid Storage Disease with Myopathy (NLSD-M), an ultra rare and genetic disease. This disease is a progressive and debilitating disease that stores lipids in the skeletal muscles. Gabby has developed severe weakness in her upper and lower extremities. This condition has drastically affected Gabby's day to day functioning.

While the prognosis is challenging, there is new hope: Gabby has the opportunity to participate in Phase 1 of a groundbreaking gene therapy treatment. This treatment could be life-changing for her and others suffering with this disease, but as you can imagine, it comes with a significant cost.

To give Gabby and all patients diagnosed with NLSD-M the chance they all deserve, we need to raise $125,000. These funds will be applied towards the initial phase of this gene therapy project. This is where we need your help. Gabby's Wonderful World foundation is looking to provide funds raised as a grant to the Center for Gene Therapy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for the gene PNPLA2 disease research and therapy development.
