Story
Your perspective changes when it becomes...Personal
It's not just Personal to the one that is struggling with their mental health, but everyone in their lives is touched by it. It creates a ripple effect. Their loved ones, family members, and friends now will have a Personal story dealing with mental health. Statistics indicate that 1 in 5 Americans struggle with mental health and 1 in 4 between the ages of 13 and 18.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 with a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe.
Navigate Hope this year for GivingTuesday, is to participate with those that are making a great impact in individual lives that also connect with our mission. We understand that mental health is directly impacted when our basic needs are not met and those with special needs fall into a larger percentage of those affected by mental health struggles.
Help us donate products for self-care packages for 140 community members that participate in Creative Enterprises, a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) Community Rehabilitation Program, that provides employment opportunities along with social and life skills training to individuals with disabilities.
Please consider joining us on GivingTuesday, Nov 29th, as we look to continue helping those in our community build and strengthen their mental health.
Navigate Hope Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, was formed as a result of our own personal struggles to find resources, education, and support when it came to Mental Health in our community.
