"What really got me interested in diesel mechanics was helping on my family farm where we did all the maintenance and small repairs on our equipment. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and even as a young kid I helped pour concrete and build sheds with my uncles and dad. From there I started welding in high school and I really enjoy using those skills to be creative and make many different projects. During high school I even used my skills to teach others how to weld.

After high school I applied for the Diesel Technologies program at LLCC where I was accepted, and I was eager to continue my studies. I was happy to see the amazing support everyone has given to this program. I plan to graduate from LLCC next year and go straight into the workforce.
