The JFC is student-owned and operated, and we provide free medical, dental, psychiatry, rehabilitation, pharmacy, social health, and specialty medical services to Mississippi’s uninsured. Thanks to the generous efforts of students, providers, and community partners, the JFC is able to provide essential healthcare services on a meager operating budget of only $65,000. Our clinic is open every week and conducts thousands of visits with patients from across our state, all at absolutely no charge.

The JFC is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, and we rely completely on volunteers and almost entirely on donations to operate. Because our clinic is staffed and operated entirely by volunteers, every dollar raised goes directly to patient care. Your generosity will be multiplied by the enthusiasm and effort of our hundreds of volunteers.

While our name is the “Jackson” Free Clinic, in 2021, we saw patients from nearly 90 cities across Mississippi. At our clinic, we fill the vital role of being a safety net by serving our state’s most vulnerable people while also helping to educate the next generation of Mississippi clinicians.
