An Evening of Music, Light & Resilience

Some stories stay with us. They are carried from one generation to the next - in our families, in our memories, and in the way we choose to move forward.

Join If You Heard What I Heard for Night of Resilience, as we honor Holocaust survivor Ella Mandel with our Medal of Resilience, and her granddaughter, IYH Interviewee and Advisor, Alyssa Mandel with our Legacy Award.

It will be an evening of music that moves us, stories that stay with us, and a community coming together to honor the past while looking toward the future.

At If You Heard What I Heard, we preserve the stories of grandchildren of Holocaust survivors - the last generation to hear survivor stories firsthand, and create opportunities for these stories to be heard by new generations.

Because when we tell these stories, we do more than remember. We carry them forward.

Your support helps us continue documenting these remarkable stories, nurturing Jewish identity, educating young people, and creating meaningful ways for future generations to understand the legacy of the Holocaust and the resilience of those who came before them. Be a part of a Night of Resilience, help us make sure the world will never forget, so that it never happens again.

Special thank you to our wonderful Event Chairs: Amy Chapman, Ashley Cohen, Samantha Fisher, Samantha Moray Grossman, Nicole Halle, Alison Kaplan, Rachel and David Paletz, and Laura Stein, and to our Host Committee: Jennifer and Aaron Aftergood, Jackie and Omri Dahan, Sari Eitches, Yifat Oren, Melissa Rosenfield.
