We’re excited to celebrate the 2023 National Society of Collegiate Scholar’s Founder’s Day! Twenty-nine years ago, Steve Loflin had the vision to recognize and elevate high-achieving collegiate students within the first or second year of their collegiate journey.

NSCS was started at The George Washington University campus in Washington, D.C., on April 30, 1994. Since then, NSCS has grown to 250 on-campus and online chapters. NSCS provides career and graduate school connections, leadership, and service opportunities and more than $500,000 annually in scholarships, awards, and chapter funds.
