WE HAVE NO WAY TO TRANSPORT PIGS RIGHT NOW — AND WE NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY.

Our rescue is facing a crisis we didn't see coming. Both of our transport vehicles are down.

Our mini-van — the one we rely on to pick up rescues, rush pigs to the hospital, help families get their pig to the vet, and support partner organizations — has suffered a complete transmission failure.

And as if that weren’t enough…

Our truck has also stopped working.

This is the only vehicle capable of pulling the trailer for our big pigs, hauling essential supplies like fencing, lumber, and larger supplies. We don’t yet have answers, but the truck is likely at the very end of its life.

Both of these vehicles are our personal vehicles that we've used for NSLB operations. Both vehicles have already had full engine replacements in recent years. The cost to repair the van alone will be thousands, and the truck may not recover at all. It’s becoming clear that the safest, most responsible path is to replace them with a single, reliable cargo van that can meet all of our transport needs and will be dedicated to the organization's operations.

Right now, without transportation, lives are at risk.

Emergencies can’t wait. Medical appointments can’t wait. Rescues in crisis can’t wait.

Transportation is the backbone of safety for every pig we help — from our residents to the pigs we assist across organizations and families.

Please note that if we do not raise funds for a cargo van, we will have to utilize what we do raise to repair mini-van. If there is an overage after the mini-van is up and running, we will set those funds aside for its next mechanical need. The mini-van was purchased new and paid for by us personally, but will be transferred to the organization.
