The Northwest Arkansas Animal Alliance, a coalition of 12 local shelters and rescues, are bringing mobile spay/neuter clinics to communities across NWA. The program rests on three pillars:

Accessibility. Using a portable surgical unit, our volunteer-powered teams set up right in the neighborhoods that need us most across NWA, reaching rural areas and high-need ZIP codes where affordable spay/neuter simply doesn't exist.

Affordability. We keep surgeries at $0–$25 for everyone, removing the cost barrier that leaves so many pets unaltered.

Veterinary capacity building. Every clinic doubles as a training ground. We help veterinarians build high-volume spay/neuter (HVSN) skills, growing the region's long-term surgical capacity so this work can continue and scale for years to come.

In 2024 alone, Alliance partners took in more than 3,200 unwanted puppies and kittens, most from litters we could have prevented. Our year-one goal: 600+ surgeries across NWA.

Your donation pays for the surgeries themselves — medical supplies, clinic-day costs, and the support that keeps our volunteer and veterinary teams running. Every gift expands access, lowers the cost of care for a family, and helps train the next skilled surgeon. This isn't about building a bigger shelter. It's about making sure fewer animals ever need one.

Where your donation goes:

$25 — One Less Litter Sponsors a full spay/neuter surgery for a pet whose family couldn't otherwise afford it. One surgery can prevent dozens of unplanned births.

$50 — Safe & Sound Covers pain medication and post-op recovery care for two surgery patients, so every animal goes home comfortable and cared for.

$100 — Ready for Surgery Stocks a surgical station with the sterile essentials — suture, gloves, gauze, and anesthesia — for a morning of back-to-back procedures.

$200 — Fuel the Front Line Feeds our volunteer and veterinary team lunch for an entire clinic day. These folks perform ~30 surgeries in a day; keeping them fed keeps them going.

$500 — Stock the Unit Funds a full day of medical consumables for the mobile surgical unit — everything the team reaches for from first surgery to last.

$1,000 — Power a Clinic Day Helps underwrite an entire clinic day — roughly 30 surgeries in a single community in one day.

$2,500 — Community Clinic Sponsor Brings a full two-day clinic (~60 surgeries) to a high-need NWA town. Sponsors are recognized as the presenting supporter of that clinic.
